BY22d Go Gauge for Cap on Finished Lamps 7006-17A-1


PURPOSE: To check dimensions A max., C1 max., D1 max., N min. and the diametrical position of the pins of cap BY22d on finished lamps.

TESTING: The cap shall enter the gauge at surface Y until the pins have passed through the slots Q.

The cap is then rotated through a small angle and pulled so that the pins are in close contact with surface S. In this position, the contact making surfaces shall not be below surface X nor shall they project beyond surface Z and the extreme end of the cap shall not project beyond surface W.

Dimension N of the gauge checks the diameter of the cap for a sufficient length to ensure interchangeability of the cap in the holders.
